Silvia Dello Russo received her PhD in Organizational Psychology from University Sapienza of Rome (Italy) with a thesis on work motivation that was awarded as best doctoral dissertation by the Division of Organizational Psychology of the Italian Association of Psychology. She is Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at ISCTE-IUL. She has been visiting researcher at Rotman School of Management (Toronto, Canada); Aston Business School (Birmingham, UK); Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Rome, Italy); WU Vienna University of Economics and Business (Vienna, Austria). Her research aims to understand the interaction between individual characteristics (work motivation, age, self-efficacy) and features of the work context (social as well as task- or structure-related) as they influence individual attitudes and behaviors. Moreover, she studies how HR systems in organizations function and support people development and motivation. Her publications appeared in outlets such as Journal of Vocational Behavior, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Applied Psychology: An International Review, Human Resource Development Quarterly, International Public Management Journal.
Mirko Antino is a researcher in the OB field at the Business Research Unit (ISCTE-IUL) and part-time visiting professor at the department of Methodology of the Behavioral Sciences in Complutense University of Madrid. He received his PhD in Psychology at Complutense University of Madrid. During his degree he visited scholars at the Department of Human Resource Management of Tuebingen; in 2011 he visited Skema Business School for a post-doctoral fellowship and in 2012, he visited the University of Montpellier and the University of Bordeaux. He has teaching experience in the field of OB and methodology (research methods, advanced research methods in OB field and statistics) at different levels (undergraduate, Master and PhD). His research interests mainly focus on teams’ and individuals’ performance in organizations, as well as measurement issues in organizational research. His research has been published in several international journals, such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Information Communication and Society, Journal of Business Strategy, Small Group Research among others.

António Caetano – PhD in social and organizational psychology, full professor of organizational behavior at Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL). His research has been focused on social exchange in organizations, group processes, well-being at work, human resources management, and entrepreneurship. He is author or co-author/editor of sixteen books and more than hundred national and international empirical articles on those and related topics. His empirical work has been published in several journals, namely Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Business Research, Group Organization Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Management Research, International Journal of Business Science and Applied Management, International Journal of Training and Development, Journal of European Industrial Training.

Donald M. Truxillo (Ph.D., Louisiana State University) is Professor of Psychology at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, USA. His research examines issues related to age differences at work, including job design and age discrimination. He also studies applicant reactions to selection and occupational health and safety. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. He served as associate editor for the Journal of Management and is currently an associate editor at Work, Aging and Retirement. He currently serves on the editorial boards of six journals including Journal of Applied Psychology and Personnel Psychology. His research has been supported by grants from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Foundation and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Since 2010 he has served on the Doctoral School Committee at the University of Trento, Italy. He has also been a visiting scholar at ISCTE Business School (Lisbon, Portugal), the University of Zurich (Switzerland), University of Valencia (Spain), and University of Palermo (Italy). He is the recipient of SIOP’s 2012 Distinguished Service Contributions Award and in 2013 he received a Fulbright Scholarship to work at the University of Trento.

Sara Zaniboni is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences, University of Trento. She obtained her PhD in Social and Organizational Psychology from the University of Bologna (Italy) in 2007. Dr. Zaniboni was a visiting scholar at the University of Essex (UK, 2006), at the University of Sherbrooke (Canada, 2008/2009), and at the Portland State University (USA, 2011/2012). Her main research interests include aging in the workplace, retirement process, and work integration of people with mental disabilities. She has participated in national and international research grants on these topics. Dr. Zaniboni has published in numerous international academic journals, such as the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Managerial Psychology, Work, Aging and Retirement, Organizational Psychology Review, International Journal of Manpower, Journal of Career Assessment, Anxiety Stress & Coping, British Journal of Social Psychology, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Journal, Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation. Dr. Zaniboni is member of the editorial board of Work, Aging and Retirement journal. She recently received the outstanding paper award 2014 from the Journal of Managerial Psychology.
